The Opportunity…

The UK Sports Institute and Aquatics GB  have an exciting opportunity for  a full time Strength & Conditioning Coach  to work in Loughborough.

A snapshot of the role…

Aquatics GB is the national governing body for Olympic Swimming, Para Swimming, Diving, Artistic Swimming, Water Polo and High Diving in Great Britain.  It is responsible internationally for the high-performance representation of the sport.  Aquatics GB seeks to enable its athletes to achieve gold medal success at the Olympics, Paralympics and World Championships.

Aquatics GB provides training environments in a number of Performance Centres across the UK for permanent athlete groups as well as acting as ‘performance hubs’ for national programme-wide activity for World Class Programme athletes.

An exciting opportunity exists for an outstanding individual to join one of the highest profile and most successful aquatics organisations in the world.  This is an exciting time to be a part of our team, especially given the time to influence the physical development of our athletes ahead of the LA 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  As a crucial member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work primarily with our Olympic swimming programme in the Loughborough Performance Centre.  You will be responsible for providing a world class level of S&C support to our athletes within the training environment, on training camps and at competition.

Working as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team with a close and strong working relationship with the coaches, you will contribute significantly to our performance planning and training science processes.  In addition, you will have a regional remit to deliver and support S&C services to the other aquatics disciplines.

If you feel you can bring the expertise we require to help us shape our future, we very much look forward to hearing from you.
